Can't Backup Quicken in Windows Vista
For those of you having problems backing up your data in Quicken on the Windows Vista platform, and/or receive the message "Unable to Access Disk..." This has to do with Windows Vista Security. Here's what to do for the workaround:
- Right click on the Shortcut to Quicken, then click Compatibility tab
- Click to put a checkmark in the box that says, "Run this program as an Administrator."
- Then select allow (in the user account control box) when you open the program.
