Microsoft Outlook No Longer Auto-fills People Names

1. Open the original NK2 file (nickname file) with Nk2.info utility and check if there are addresses in the file. If there are addresses, close Outlook. Rename a copy of the nickname file to .nk2 file. Put it in the same folder as you found the old nickname file.

2. Open Outlook. Then test if auto-fill will work from NK2 file. If not, the Nk2 file is corrupt.

3. Next, delete the old .nk2 file. Create a new NK2 file by typing a name in an Outlook sent message. After sending, a new NK2 file should be created. Import the addresses from old NK2 using the Nk2.info utility.
