You are Unable to Browse or Access Other Computers on Your Local Area Network

This is most often caused when once computer uses TCP/IP protocol and the other uses Netbui. To fix this issue:

1)      Go to Start>Control Panel>Network Connections

2)      Right-click on the network connection (Local Area or Wireless) and left click on properties

3)      Click on the Install button and choose Protocol and click on ADD

4)      Select NetBEUI (Netbios Compatible Transport) and click OK, then after it installs, click OK

5)      Reboot and you should be able to browse other computers on the network.

6)      Finally, verify that all the computers are joined to the same Workgroup name.
