You Receive Error windows was unable to complete the disk check

1) Go to the command prompt again and type "chkdsk /f C:" without quotes and hit enter.

2) If it asks to dismount (it may not) answer no. It then will ask to run on reboot answer yes. Let it run to completion

3) When complete, after the system reboots run "chkdsk /V C:" (the /V option gives more detail)

4) Finally, in the command prompt, run chkdsk /f , hit enter, answer Y, type Exit, and then reboot the computer.

This will fix any errors on the disk..
