You Cannot Use DHCP on Your iPhone from Your Home Network

The fix for this is to change the iPhone to static addressing for your home IP addressing scheme.

To set a static IP address on an iPhone navigate on your iPhone to Settings > WiFi > Tap the blue arrow next to the network name, hit Static and enter the details.

Everyone has their own IP addressing scheme, but the most common is:

IP Address: 192.168.1.xxx (assign a fix number)

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Router (Gateway): 192.168.1.1

DNS: 192.168.1.1
