I cannot remember or lost my Windows password

To do this:

1. Start the problem computer

2. Start tapping the F8 key until your are prompted with a black screen

3. Arrow up to the choice that reads Safe Mode and hit enter twice

4. Click on the Administrator Account. If it does not have a password, you are in luck, if it does and you do not know it, go to page two.

5. Go Start>Control Panel>User accounts

6. Click on the account you could not remember the password for

7. Click on “Change Password”

8. Chang the password to something you can remember and write it down

9. Reboot and login.
