Windows 2003 Server hangs at Bootup

1. Take the server off the network. Boot the server.Apply the correct IP settings to the server.

2. If this does not solve the issue, check if the server has APC Powerchute UPS software installed. Uninstall the software and see if the server boots correctly. If so, you need version 7 or higher of the Powerchute software.

It takes an enormous amount of time for your Windows Server to boot. This is often related to network card settings put on a new server or an older server with a new network card. If the server had static IP addressing enabled, this would also cause the problem
